Thor: Love and Thunder poster confirms Lady Sif’s return

Thor: Love and Thunder is officially bringing back Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif to the MCU.

The actress was said to be involved all the way back in 2020, but up until the sequel’s new poster release, nothing was written in stone.

As you can see below, Alexander is credited at the bottom of this retro wonder.

Lady Sif is of course the God of Thunder’s childhood pal and trusted ally, first introduced in the original Thor movie before popping up across The Dark World, Agents of SHIELD, Loki and What If…?.

Will she have the pleasure of battling Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige previously explained Lady Sif’s absence in Ragnarok: “Lady Sif is played by an actor in New York, on a TV show [Blindspot], at the moment. She was busy.

“If she had been on Asgard, she might not be alive, so that’s one of the advantages [of not having her in the film].”

Chris Hemsworth, who’s about to enter the Mad Max wasteland in George Miller’s Furiosa, recently addressed his future as Thor.

“You know, as long as they’ll have me, I’ll turn up. But I feel like they might be waning that kind of enthusiasm for me,” he said.

Something tells us that’s not the case.

On his dream Furiosa job, the Australian actor had this to say last year: “It really is, out of everything I’ve done, the biggest pinch-myself moment, because I’ve grown up watching [Mad Max] and it’s so iconic.”

Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date of July 8. The other three Thor movies are available to stream now on .
