Troubleshoot Low-Quality Video After Upload | Uscreen Help Center

If your recently uploaded videos are playing in low quality, there are a few things that can contribute to it.

When you upload a video, it will initially be processed in low resolution since it helps speed up the upload process. When the upload is complete, your video will be available to stream in low resolution. Higher resolution, such as 1080p, can take more time to process. While this processing happens, your video may appear to only play on a low resolution setting for several hours. As soon as the video is fully processed, higher resolutions will be available.

If the quality problem persists, even after a complete upload, then the low quality could continue due to a caching issue, in which case you can replay the video after a few hours. Make sure to try different quality settings on the video page:

Navigate to the video player and click on the gear icon

Then click on Quality

Test different settings options to see if the quality changes

Please make sure to follow our recommended guidelines for Quality Settings when you upload videos.

If the issue continues after troubleshooting and following the quality settings recommendations, feel free to reach out to our support team.
