What QCP Certification Means | AWI-QCP

The Architectural Woodwork Institute’s (AWI) Quality Certification Program (QCP) is the stamp of approval and quality assurance tool that ensures interior architectural woodwork meets project specifications and industry best practices.

QCP licensing is earned by woodworking firms who, through rigorous and comprehensive testing and inspection of completed architectural woodwork, demonstrate the ability to fabricate, finish and/or install work to the high quality standards set out in the AWI Standards.

QCP certification has long been a mark of excellence and a testament to the craftsmanship of an interior woodworking project. It demonstrates the quality assurance of a firm’s ability to either design, produce, or install interior architectural woodwork. QCP certification demonstrates knowledge, skill, quality, and an outstanding work ethic.
