adidas Originals Adds Japanese-Inspired Cloud Embroidery to Yung-1
adidas Originals has given its Yung-1 a traditional Japanese art-inspired makeover with the release of its “Lucky Cloud” iteration. The sneaker features various pale and white shades adorning its mixed-texture upper and is complemented by “Collegiate Royal” and “Active Red” accents drawn from its Japanese-style cloud embroidery.
Shades of icy blue and white have been used on the Yung-1’s suede and textile upper, while red and peach have been used on the webbed Three Stripes and outsole. “Collegiate Royal” is also seen on the outsole towards the rear, and has been used on the sock liner as well as on the tongue to flesh out the Trefoil logo branding.
The cloud embroidery is seen on both sides of the shoe and the toe box. Rounding off the Yung-1’s Wintery aesthetic is an off-white sole unit and a Torsion system highlighted in icy blue. The adidas Originals Yung-1 “Lucky Cloud” can be picked up from Caliroots for £127 GBP (approx. $155 USD).
In other news, adidas has dropped a new range of OZWEEGO and LXCON sneakers inspired by the past.
