The prominent financier hails from a family of Italian descent in Long Island, New York on January 6, 1964. His father was a construction officer named Alexander Scaramucci while his mother is Marie DeFeo Scaramucci. He has two siblings; David and Suzanne.
Anthony Scaramucci attended Paul D. Schreiber Senior High School in Port Washington, where he held the position of student council president. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University before enrolling at Harvard University, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Soon after graduating from Harvard, Scaramucci got a job in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division in 1989. However, he was fired the following year. He was rehired two months later, although he moved to the firm’s equities department.
In 1996, Anthony Scaramucci left Goldman Sachs to co-found Oscar Capital Management with his partner; Andrew Borchardt. In 2001, Neuberger Berman bought Oscar Capital, which was sold to Lehman Brothers two years later. Despite all the changes in ownership, Scaramucci held a prominent position in the company and acted as managing director.

Soon after separating from Lisa, Scaramucci began dating Deidre Ball, who was his associate at Skybridge Capital.
