Branded Clothing • JUSTSO Clothing & Merchandise
This decoration method involves applying ink directly to the garments by means of a specialist silk mesh screen, made from the artwork supplied, and then the inks are dried with specialist machine. This process can be used to create simple to complex designs using various colours. Each colour printed requires its own screen. This technique is also used for discharge (vintage) printing using a chemical in with the dye that creates a bleached effect.
Low cost branding
This decoration method is great for 1 or 2 colour designs ideally, and is cost effective for large designs. As with embroidery branding, this is suitable for one offs as no minimums apply. It can be cheaper for smaller quantities compared to silkscreen printing.
Artwork
We will need a vectored outline file such as an .eps or .ai file. If you don’t have that we can create the appropriate file for you. If you have an idea but nothing formally prepared yet, then we can start from scratch and help you out- artwork services can be commissioned at a competitive rate.
Set up
With the right artwork files there’s no set up fee involved. If the files supplied need some tender loving care, then it may incur an artwork charge, but there isn’t a set up charge as such.
Suitability
As each colour printed requires it’s own screen and each screen is chargeable, the process is most suitable for higher quantities but may be suitable from around 25 garments. Again the JUSTSO team are here to work it all out for you to offer the best value and result-driven solution.
Low cost branding
Unlike print, embroidery is not more expensive the more colours you use – you can have up to 15 at no extra charge. The cost is determined by the complexity and size of the design, as it is calculated on stitch count. So, contrary to a frequent assumption, embroidery is a cost effective decorating method.
Artwork
Any format of artwork will do or some sort of visual reference, or even an existing branded garment to reference. Just an idea and no actual logo – give us a ring or pop by and we’ll help get you started on your branding journey. Whatever is supplied, we need to convert the design into a stitch formatted file (.DST) When it comes to re-orders, the embroidery file (known as a .DST file) will be kept on reference ready for re-use.
Set up
Digitising is the term used to convert your design for embroidery, creating the .DST file. JUSTSO only charge a one off, up- front cost whereas others continually build it into every garment you order, every time (so watch out there!) The only time you may need to pay an additional digitising fee is when the design or output size changes substantially. Typically this cost ranges from £10.00 to £20.00 + VAT, but we will always let you know in the course of our discussions with you. Sometimes the set up is offered FREE of charge depending on the specific job, design, and order size.
Suitability
Embroidery works on most garments from t-shirts, polo shirts, sweats, hoodies, fleeces, jackets, caps, bags, shirts and blouses, aprons and chefswear, towels, toys, equine blankets and saddlecloths and JUSTSO much more…
No minimum
JUSTSO can embroider 1 item if a special one off is what you need but as with anything unique, it will cost a little bit more. Ideally our machines work in multiples of 3 or 6, and the bigger the order, the better the prices we can offer you.
