Burberry is not a brand that is particularly famous for its perfumes, at least among men. While Burberry has perfumes for all kinds of tastes, its most popular may be London. However, I think Buberry’s strength lies in sweeter compositions as my favorite from the brand are Touch and Brit. Burberry Brit is sweet but it is not gourmand type of sweet. Rather, it is sweet in the sense of a milky desert that gives off a sweet aroma due to the inclusions of ingredients such as sugar and cardamom. It is the type of sweet fragrance one can wear any day and on any occasion. The most prominent notes to me are rose and cardamom but don’t let rose discourage you because here rose is not a single major player but necessary for the overall composition. It does not smell like a rose soliflore but when you smell the perfume as a whole, you can tell how rose made this particular composition possible. Rose meshes in well with other notes so the perfume never comes across as too rosey.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas and I am a bit unimpressed by it to say the least! For the price you would expect to smell the cologne beyond a few minutes but instead the smell dies rather quickly! This cologne smells good in the bottle and when you first spray but it “WILL NOT” hold beyond the spray…This is being honest. If you want a long lasting and even better smelling cologne you should try Jean Paul Gaultier! It not only lasts but its similar and you really get your money worth!I knew I should have stuck with buying him Jean Paul because even whEn he got out of the shower I could smell the shower gel for hours and with one spray of cologne the Jean Paul lasted over 12 hours with him working in the outdoors.Burberry Brit does not last beyond the first spray and I dont smell the shower gel on him either when he uses it. Waste of money .

I’d read the reviews, but I didn’t think the spice and the rose would be so strong. It’s one of those scents I have to wear with confidence, or it wears me! Not bad at all, but not in the same ballpark as other Burberry frags. 3/5, glad I have it, unique scent profile, but ultimately not one I reach for often.

Burberry Brit edt is a really nice powdery floral and woody fragrance. It’s quite unique. I love the scent but, the longevity could be a lot better.
