Burberry Her Elixir de Parfum Burberry perfume – a new fragrance for women 2022

So, I bought this perfume before there was even an announcement that it was going to be on the market. I blind bought it off someone on eBay for an insanely cheap price $38.00 for 1 ounce. I figured it wasn’t that expensive and if I didn’t like it, I could sell it. Also, I did email customer service as well like the girl a couple reviews down below mentioned and they had no idea this was even coming out. So, this smells like fruits with a little jasmine and a lot of amber that is powdery. Everything is mixed very well so it’s hard to pick out anything but the amber. Also, there must be some clean musk in here because I am getting a faint shampoo vibe. The amber base is what you will be smelling on the dry down. To me this is quite linear, it smells the same beginning to finish. In term of sweetness this is not as sweet as Burberry her intense. I would say that is the sweetest one followed by elixir and then the original Her. Each version has something different to offer, original Her giving baccarat rouge 540 vibes (not a clone), Intense being super sweet like a piece of candy and elixir being creamy and powdery. Lasting power of elixir on skin was actually very long. I sprayed on my skin around 6pm and woke up around 7am and there was a faint smell of amber on my skin if I pressed my nose to it. Usually when I wake up the scent is completely gone on my skin. This definitely lasts long on clothing and will stay until you wash the item. Silliage is not huge or a beast but is rather intimate to an arm’s length especially after you spray it but then it calms down in an hour or 2. I’m not in love with this scent because of the powdery amber feel, not my vibe. I prefer the 2 previous versions over this with intense being my favorite. I have a feeling either the amber is going to be very polarizing for people, either you will really love it or really hate it because it’s very present. Bath and body works just released their new scent midnight amber glow. If you like that one, then you will like elixir because they are both amber heavy. If you hated it, then there is a chance you will not like this release from Burberry.
