Burberry joins Sephora
Makeup artists rejoice! Cult Brit brand Burberry has just hit Sephora stores in Sydney, with Melbourne Sephora launching the brand later this month.
Makeup artists, in case you needed another reason to step into Sephora, here it is. Burberry Makeup has just launched into the Australian Sephora. The Brit brand is already in Sephora Pitt Street Sydney and Sephora Macquarie Sydney stores and is set to hit the shelves in Sephora Melbourne on 28 November 2015.
With cool-girls such as Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss heading up campaigns for the brand, this cult Brit label just keeps getting cooler. What better way to show your style stripes than having some of the brand’s makeup in your kit?
To coincide with the launch, Burberry has introduced its Runway 2015 Makeup Collection, which is inspired by the brand’s Womenswear “Patchwork, Pattern & Prints” collection. This edgy collection features the limited-edition Runway Palette, a camouflage eye palette that will wow even the most long-serving makeup artists amongst us.
“We have developed an eye palette which features the same camouflage design created for the runway show,” says Burberry Make-up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe. “This palette features three modern shades that can be used together to create a smoky look.”
Also on our wish-list at Professional Beauty is the range of new concealer and contouring pens; these will definitely help with that constant request from clients wanting to be “lit from within”.
The strobe-friendly Burberry Fresh Glow Highlighting Luminous Pen provides ample glow. “It’s my glow-to-go,” says Wendy Rowe. “A great tool which can be applied where desired to light up the complexion and give skin that lit-from-within radiance.”
Then there is the Burberry Effortless Contouring Pen – a mainstay in any professional makeup kit. “I’ve been using the Effortless Contouring Pen non stop,” says Rowe. “It is a one of a kind backstage essential.”
And the flaw-busting Burberry Cashmere Concealer, which “provides higher coverage and is long-lasting,” says Rowe. “It’s great for hiding any flaws and is the finishing touch to a flawless complexion.”
