Burberry London for Women
By now you probably know that I love perfumes. I truly do. My collection is big and ever-growing. It contains mainstream brands and niche perfumes. It also contains designer small-batch perfumes. It’s a mix between many different worlds. And I love it like that.
Burberry Eau de perfume for women.
That’s why I was excited when I got the opportunity to try the cult
Enjoy the unique atmosphere of London in its most sensual form. The Burberry London Eau de Parfum for women presents the atmosphere of the British metropolis, which brings together tradition and a dynamic, creative spirit.
The top notes offer the romantic scent of rose and honeysuckle combined with juicy tangerine. After a while, you will notice accords of sensual jasmine, Tahitian gardenia and delicate peony, which are all accentuated by subtly sweet tangerine. The base notes of the Burberry London Eau de Parfum from 2006 are made up of a warm blend of patchouli, musk and sandalwood which makes this fragrance very feminine and captivating.

BOTTLE DESIGN
The bottle is elegantly simple but it has a small detail that makes this feel a bit more. It’s the cloth with their cult cashmere scarf pattern. The cloth is stitched on the bottle and glued on the glass, so it can be moved a bit, but not too much.
HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE SCENT
When I first tried the perfume I thought it was very strong. And now just simply strong but quite overpowering strong. It smelled like very perfumed soap and it took a couple of minutes to settle a bit.
After a while, it smells more like a gentle and cosy night in a busy cafe.
I mean, it’s a classic scent that makes me feel how a late Sunday night in old London must feel. I’m speculating a bit here, but yes. Cosy and classy.
The notes I noticed the most were those of jasmine and rose. After a while it gets a bit muskier and closer to the skin, feels a bit more intimate.
OVERALL:
I thought I maybe won’t like it as it’s a really old perfume (2006), but I was wrong. It feels like something that old ladies would love, but because it settles after a couple of minutes, it’s a scent that I enjoy. But after all, I love strong scents for special occasions. Maybe I am turning into an old lady and I don’t know that yet? 😛
Anyway, it’s a scent that leaves me feeling calm and cosy which is ironic since the scent is quite strong. But it is what it is and I feel like I need a nap after whiffing it for the last hour. 🙂
Now I know why it’s a classic scent. Because I feel that it is a bit more gender-neutral than the name would suggest. Plus because it’s been so long on the market you can get it really cheap (mine was less than 15 euro on sale). It’s a win-win situation.
