QA/QC Engineer

Description

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for working closely with other engineers and related construction, fabrication, and repair departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
• Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Analyze inspection results.
• Advising and supporting of colleagues, users, departments and clients within the lines of the business structure, to improve the quality of the production- and maintenance process
• Implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes, using API 580 and other
  similar programs to develop internal standard practices.

Certification, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements

• Must hold a degree or diploma in the related field.
• Must have minimum 3+ years of experience.
• Has previous experience working with offshore pipeline projects.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Must have worked with EPC or Oil and Gas companies.
• Must be able to relocate.
• Must hold a CSWIP, PCN, or AWS CWI Certification.
