Chanel – N°5 – Coffret N°5 Eau De Parfum 100 ml + Mini Twist and Spray 7 ml – Luxury Fragrances – Avvenice
Chanel – The Revolutionary Coco
Gabrielle Chanel, a strong and ambitious woman, overturned the women fashion, that was constrained within a rigid social pattern. Chanel the “modiste” didn’t belong to the Parisian aristocracy, nor to the high bourgeoisie, but she managed to make à la page the dressmakers and saleswomen’s dresses even for the rich ladies from Deauville.
She was born on August 19th, 1883, in a small village in the South of France; Coco started out in the fashion industry in 1908, creating hats in Paris and later in Deauville. In the 10s, those cities plus Biarritz saw the opening of her first shops. During the Belle Epoque, women were constrained in rigid corsets and wore pleated, draped and reinforced dresses with petticoats.
Furthermore, you have to consider that the taste of the time imposed an exotic and oriental appeal. It is not difficult to imagine how a fashion style aiming at overturning those rules was considered visionary and impudent at that time. In the same years, Paul Poiret and Mademoiselle Vionnet freed women from corselettes, while Paquin introduced a flowing shape and an Empire style waist.

Portrait
In a limited edition black and white box, the iconic bottle of No.5 Eau de Parfum (100ml) is accompanied by the new Mini Twist and Spray (7 ml), ideal to carry with you.
No.5 Eau de Parfum is purely female. Enveloping and sensual. Generous and unsettling. A mythical and timeless scent.
Olfactory Atmosphere
L’Eau de Parfum is inspired by the extract, with which it shares the flowery-aldehyde signature. This flowery bouquet, declined around the May rose and jasmine, is cheerful and lively thanks to the top notes. The aldehydes affirm a unique presence, while the soft touch of vanilla gives an infinitely sensual memory.
Inspiration
In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel turned to Ernest Beaux to create a rare and intense “perfume for women that tastes like a woman”. The perfumer proposes a visionary composition that foresees an unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle prefers version number 5 of the fragrance and, for her name, chooses this simple number. For this new composition, adopt an extreme bottle, adorned with a white label and a faceted cabochon. In 1986, Jacques Polge, nose of CHANEL since 1978, reinterprets the olfactory composition of his predecessor to create a wider version of N ° 5: the Eau de Parfum.
Art of Perfuming
The Eau de Parfum in vaporizer version for a wide and simple gesture, on the skin or on the lining of clothes.
The Mini Twist and Spray, practical and compact, is ideal to carry with you and allows you to liven up the notes of the fragrance throughout the day.
