Chanel Review > Le Blanc Essence Lotion (Healthy Light Creator/ Boosting essence-in-lotion)
I have been quite enjoying Chanel’s newly launched Le Blanc Essence Lotion Healthy Light Creator, and boy, I actually quite like their renovated Le Blanc range.

Scent & Consistency
Chanel Le Blanc Essence Lotion carries their signature floral scent, which isn’t anything surprising, but I would say that the texture is something special😉 It has a milky looking mostly opaque watery consistency, yet it gives a beautiful glow to skin once it’s absorbed.
Although it isn’t technically a bi-phase essence lotion, it still carries that light oil finish without any sticky or masky residue.
It absorbs into skin fast and leaves skin satiny smooth to touch with suppleness.
Benefits
A powerful skincare that tones skin and enhances the appearance of healthy pure light. The milky texture delivers a fresh sensation and, after a few seconds of massage, transforms into a comforting, deeply penetrating lightweight oil. With use, the complexion appears soft, smooth, plump and luminous.
Key ingredients
At the heart of the LE BLANC formula are two signature ingredients. Ume Flower Extract — a natural, exclusive* ingredient — promotes vitality and resistance against both internal and external stressors. Ume Flower Oil works to deeply nourish and moisturize. These ingredients combined with pearl-like pigments help keep skin looking bright and revitalized.
*Extracted from the mostpremium variety of Ume Flower, cultivated in a designated field owned by CHANEL with a specific extraction process
How to apply
Apply every morning to cleansed face, neck and décolleté with fingertips or a cotton pad. Follow with LE BLANC serum and cream.

Verdict
You can use the essence lotion either with or without a cotton pad, but I would recommend using bare hands if your focus is more on hydration as I’ve found that it gives more suppleness to skin. Though, I would use the cotton pads for targeted areas like patch masks before make-up when I need a light base on the day. The way I do it is pretty simple; you just need to get a couple of cotton pads, halve the layer and saturate them generously. Then place them on to your face and leave on about 5 minutes while you do your hair, then take them off.
I use this method a lot more often when I’m on my cycle as I’ve found that Chanel Le Blanc Essence Lotion helps healing my hormonal spots while providing enough hydration. It is certainly a great companion not only to a brightening skincare regime but also to hydrating one. If you have oily combination skin and even find the majority of lightweight hydrating serum still a bit too heavy and rich, I suggest you to try out Chanel Le Blanc Essence Lotion as it gives both sufficient hydration and a smooth canvas for make-up. If you are looking for a boosting essence-in-lotion to use all year round, I recommend Chanel Le Blance Essence Lotion.
