Coco Austin slammed for ‘inappropriate’ dance with 7-year-old daughter Chanel

Coco Austin was slammed by fans who deemed her new dancing video with daughter Chanel “inappropriate.”

“Chanel always makes me do these weird dances I just go with it,” she captioned the Instagram video of the two of them dancing on Tuesday. “I stole this from her phone to show you. Lol. #mommydaughter #dynamicduo.”

In the clip, the model and 7-year-old danced side-by-side in matching black-and-white outfits to the tune of a remixed version of Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow.”

For one part of the routine, Austin lifts her leg toward Chanel, who then tries to smack her mom’s butt twice.

While fans had mixed reactions to the mother-daughter duo’s newest video, which has already garnered over 75,000 views on TikTok, some believed the dance moves were unsuitable for children.

“It is not appropriate for a little girl or her mother,” one unamused fan wrote, with another adding, “It’s weird she has her slap her like that. It is weird sorry.”

A third chimed in, writing, “Inappropriate inappropriate Coco inappropriate.

“How sad that that is the new training of parents to children, and worse, that is celebrated by the rest of society, that is why the world is the way it is,” wrote a fourth critic.

“Cringy [sic] af 😩,” added another.

Austin previously faced backlash for posting a video of Chanel twerking in Christmas pajamas.

Austin has yet to respond to the criticism.

However, this isn’t the first time that her parenting skills have been placed under public scrutiny.

Most recently, the former reality star, 44, defended herself and her daughter, whom she shares with husband Ice-T, against online trolls who had an issue with a video she posted of Chanel twerking in Christmas pajamas.

The model has defended her “unconventional” style of parenting numerous times.

At the time, Austin explained that she and her relatives were “in the middle of” filming a TikTok video in her front yard when Chanel ran out “to bust a move and make [them] laugh.”

Additionally, Austin was recently criticized for giving her daughter a bath in the kitchen sink.

“The sink is easiest when you have to be fast,” she captioned the Sept. 22 Instagram video, which featured Chanel sitting in soapy water while looking at her iPad.

Austin and her husband, Ice-T, welcomed Chanel in November 2015.

The “Ice Loves Coco” alum later took to Twitter to address the backlash about her “unconventional” parenting style.

“Wow just Wow! Here we go again!” she wrote at the time. “Giving my lil girl a bath in the sink went Viral? SMH!

“People, you gotta know by now that I’m an unconventional mother,” Austin continued. “I do what works and is easier on me. Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!”
