Worked as assistant decorator in design and drawing on the film “coco avant Chanel” by Anne Fontaine, made in 2008. This film portrays Coco Chanel’s childhood through her first moment of Glory… Coco Chanel’s store embodies the modern woman before the concept was invented. It is a particular film d’époque, which had to adapt to Chanel’s rigor and style. To do so, the film’s cast, particularly for costumes and decoration, met several times with Chanel. A dominant graphic aspect in blacks and whites. A refined aesthetic vision. Miniaturised image effects which bring sensibility and authenticity while maintaining a very contemporary approach.
