Excuse Me While I Try on 300 Pairs of Chanel Eyeglasses

Shopping for glasses is hard to do during a pandemic — you can’t exactly pop into a store and put a bunch of frequently touched sample frames on your face. Still, there’s some good news from Chanel. Today, their eyeglasses are shoppable on their website, and the fun part is that you can try on all 300 styles virtually.

If you sort of know what you want, you can filter all of the styles by frame, shape, and color. There are chic grandma goggles, understated wire frames, sassy cat’s-eyes, and even pearl glasses chains (keep your frames away from dirty surfaces while looking like the coolest lady who lunches). But the virtual try-on feature and the optical size guide are both fun and extremely helpful in making the correct decision. With the help of your laptop’s camera, you can see how each pair will look on your face.

Once you make your informed selection, you’re given a list of recommended opticians in your area that you can go to for eye exams, prescription lenses, complimentary fittings and adjustments, and after-sales care. Prices range from $370 to $1170.

See a few of our favorite pairs below, and shop all of Chanel’s eyeglasses here.
