Is it cheaper to buy Chanel bag in Paris or London? – Fodor’s Travel Talk Forums

I bought a Chanel bag in Paris this year, and it ended up costing just about exactly the same as it would have in the US, or maybe a tiny bit more. ( I had almost bought the same one at Saks, but decided to wait and buy it in Paris)

The selection is much larger in Paris, though, so if it’s something that’s hard to find in the US you may have better luck there.

I agree with lrock that it is an experience to go to the rue Cambon store.

They wrapped my bag so beautifully, with a tissue, Chanel satin ribbon, and a gold camellia that I took pictures of it before finally opening it!
