Justin Bieber Cleans Up Real Nice in the Latest Calvin Klein Campaign
Calvin Klein is back at it again. For its latest campaign, the American underwear and jeans giant enlisted a roster of famous faces, including (deep breath) Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Maluma, SZA, Lil Nas X, Hunter Schafer, and Lay Zhang, to model some of its newest styles. Per the press release, the campaign celebrates “unapologetic confidence and self-love” as fronted by a cast “chosen for their willingness to bare themselves to the world”, and features photography by Mario Sorrenti and accompanying videos directed by Bardia Zeinali (fresh off another directing credit for Bieber’s “Yummy” music video) that drive home the brand’s “DEAL WITH IT” narrative.
At the very least, the campaign is a solid incentive to buy new clothes because after seeing these images I sure as hell want to hide my pale, fleshy body under as many layers of sweet, sweet cops as possible. I’d say the pictures make me want to “go the gym” and “get in shape” but the sad reality is that filling the gaping void in the deepest, darkest depths of my soul with material purchases is really the only way I know how to cope. Maybe some new underwear will make a difference!
I’m not going to lie, I tend to prefer my daily dose of Bieber scummy and unshaved, but even sans ‘stache, goddamn he looks good. Everyone looks good! It’s a fucking Calvin Klein campaign. Good news on that front, too. Each collection launches today, so you don’t have to wait to look like your preferred campaign star (toned bodies and effortless sex appeal unfortunately not included).
