Here’s a review of another fantastic product by La Roche-Posay.
The formula is pretty straightforward; two types of hyaluronic acid for optimal hydration, panthenol (vitamin B5) soothes and helps to repair the skin, and madecassoside, the active ingredient in Centella Asiatica, is anti-inflammatory and helps to stimulate collagen production. We can also find good old glycerine and dimethicone for more robust moisturising action. The serum contains alcohol, but it’s drying effect is mitigated by all the beautiful ingredients mentioned above. Alcohol helps ingredients to penetrate better and work faster in the skin. The product is suitable for all skin types, but there’s a bit of fragrance as European skincare formulators love to add fragrance to everything.
This serum resembles the SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier; they both have a similar texture of watery gel that melts into the skin. This product is very agreeable, and it is easy to use, works well with other products, and does what it say on the box. It leaves my skin plump, soft, and with a feeling of deeply hydrated skin. I enjoy using this serum a lot. You can use on its own or on top of other products, just remember to seal it in with something as hyaluronic acid pulls moisture out of the skin. I don’t have much to say about this product, other than it’s fantastic.
I highly recommend this product; it delivers promised results and doesn’t cause any issues. If you’re looking for a good hyaluronic acid serum, then this one is a great option to consider. This product has one advantage over the SkinCetuicals’ serum as it doesn’t contain essential oils, so if you can’t tolerate them, then this serum is a much better option for you.
