National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) has an opening for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer in Washington DC.

Duties: Perform application health check with performance valuation for company applications. Create and review Automation Test plan and test strategy document. Design and implement automation framework for UI/ Web Services/Mobile testing (iOS and Android). Create automation test strategy and test plan for UI and Mobile based applications. Cloud services integration with automation pipelines. CICD-devOps pipeline implementation. Reporting on automation metrics and analysis through graphical performance PDF charts/html/ spark-based extent reports. Commit/Review and merge dev-based codes on to master repository. Monitor, evaluate and makes recommendations on QA tasks within enterprise-wide processes such as Test Life Cycles, Change Management and Release Management. Establish automation test standards, procedures, and metrics. Responsible for adherence to the quality program.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field followed by seven years of experience in the job offered or seven years of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include each of the following: 1) Creating and updating BDD-TestNG/POM automation framework utilizing Java/JS coding; 2) Testing Rest-Assured based framework with implementations from Selenium/Cucumber and Java/JS; 3) Mobile App automation on mobile server (Android/iOS/Appium) with extent/Kibana/HTML reporting; 4) Android-based manager tools and Xcode with simulator/emulator apps; 5) CI/CD pipeline with batch and scheduled job creation; 6) Multi-threaded/Multi-platform testing with Cloud-based automation; and 7) Automation for GUI/Mobile App/Webservices utilizing: Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Appium, Jenkins, Java, JS, Gherkin, Rest API, AVD, Xcode, SauceLabs, and Kibana.
