Letter Of Complaint

I submitted the above letter of complaint – with your helpful comments – as a homework for my classes in academic writing. When I got it back, I was shocked to find that my teacher strongly disliked a couple of things about it. Would you mind taking a look at the comments my teacher made? I would be very grateful if you could tell me what you think.
Thanks a lot

Mister MicawberI am writing to you to voice my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of both the goods and service I received at Bata Shop on Masaryk Street in Brno.

I was particularly surprised at the last comment. According to my teacher, there is no way one could say “in mid-trip” meaning “in the middle of a trip” or “half-way through a trip”. I cannot believe this is a mistake; but how do I substantiate myself?

PS: This post of mine is by no means meant as a reproach or something – far from it! I really appreciate all your comments.

Thanks again for any help
