My Burberry Black Elixir de Parfum Burberry perfume – a fragrance for women 2017

I hate to be this person but I did score this for $50 when the Burberry website has it listed for $200+. Bragging done. Having said that I do think I would have been dissapointed had I paid the full price. This didn’t blow my socks off eventhough it has all the notes I love and I am forever looking for a great new rose scent. It does start out smelling very powdery and sweet with a hint of lemon. it is at it’s best in the dry down when it becomes an almonds powdery sweet rose. I must say I don’t have anything that smells like this. The closest comparison would be the other My Burberry scents which is a good thing as many houses out there are recreating their own versions of classic scents it seems. I think this will work in any season however I have only tried it in warm weather so far, who knows maybe it becomes more stunning in the fall/winter. The longevity is good and you can still smell remnants of this scent on your clothes the next day or on your house robe which is my quarantine uniform lately.
