Noah Centineo Makes Calvin Klein Underwear Modeling Debut
Everyone’s Netflix boyfriend is back with a sexy new role: underwear model.
Noah Centineo, 22, is making his Calvin Klein debut, joining stars Shawn Mendes, Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky and more for the brand’s Spring 2019 Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear campaign.
The new spot, which “captures the raw and honest emotions and experiences of youth today” was shot in a suburban Los Angeles setting by British fashion photographer Glen Luchford with styling by Melanie Ward.
According to the brand, the narrative, which is the latest installment of the #MyCalvins initiative, is centered around “the coming-of-age concept evokes universal truths of curiosity, companionship, sexual exploration, and the spirit of rebellion.”
For Centineo, who broke onto the scene last year in the smash hit Netflix rom-com To All the Boys I Loved Before, youth is a mindset.
“I think youth is a thing, regardless of age, that looks at the world, that looks at a scenario, and flips it on its head and goes, ‘that might not be right. How can we do that better?’” he muses on the concept of the new campaign.
Over the weekend, singer Shawn Mendes, 20, dropped his sexy, underwear-clad campaign photos, sparking a lusty firestorm of emotion on the Internet.
“I think that youth, and this generation in general right now, are speaking so loudly, and people are listening more than ever,” Mendes shares. “And it’s incredible because they’re saying very, very important things and people are listening. I don’t think we’ve ever been louder as a younger generation – and in the best way.”
Kendall Jenner returns to the #MyCalvins campaign after co-starring with her famous sisters last year.
“I don’t think youth has an end really,” Jenner says. “I think it’s all in your soul and how you feel rather than an actual age.”
For musician A$AP Rocky, youth represents a fresh start at any age.
“I think that youth can be the beginning stage of any part of life whether it’s a new career, a new chapter, a new album,” he says.
Jasmine Daniels, Anna Ewers, Jiali Zhao, Lulu Tenney, Ernesto Cervantes, Fernando Albaladejo, Timo Baumann, Tommy Vanden Meerssche and Michael Order round out the campaign cast and star in the video spot set to the iconic ’80s New Order track, “True Faith.” Watch the clip above!
