No introduction needed if you have already read my previous post about Purito Centella Unscented Recovery Cream, which was gifted by Purito and Beautybarn. And this is by far Purito’s one of the best selling serums. I literally loved using this beautiful serum throughout the cold weather, coz my skin needed that extra extra hydration during the winters and this serum really kept up its hydration game. Containing 49% highly-concentrated Centella Extract that has excellent effects of skin regeneration and recovery. KEY INGREDIENTS :

• Centella Asiatica – Centella Asiatica is best-known for its wound-healing abilities. So-called “tiger grass” and also known as CICA, it is a powerful antioxidant that soothes and reduces skin inflammation, fights free radicals and boosts collagen.
• Niacinamide – A powerhouse ingredient. A form of Vitamin B3 that helps soothe and hydrate skin, while treating acne as well.
• Ceramide NP – Ceramide NP is a mild ingredient that does not cause skin irritation due to its structure similar to skin lipid. It strengthens the skin barrier and fends off external stimuli. It keeps skin hydrated by sealing in moisture, preventing evaporation of skin moisture, and maintaining the healthy balance of oil and water.
• Peptide – Encourages enhanced skin radiance by helping increase skin regeneration, improving wrinkles, and enhancing skin’s elasticity.

Packaging, comes in a clear frosted plastic pump bottle, housed inside a cardboard box which has all the essential details about the serum on it. The serum also is a clear normal serum consistency one; not too watery, not too thick. It does take time to absorb into the skin, like a minute or two as the serum has that slip. And of course its is ‘unscented’ and is totally essential-oil free.

This Centella Unscented serum is suggested to be used morning and/or night along with your moisturizer. And I used it in my AM and PM routine along with the Unscented Toner first and the Recovery Cream as my moisturizer. Such a lightweight serum; it provides the essential skin hydration and absolutely soothes it. I also use this now, in the summers and its my serum/moisturizer for me now; like this one serum is enough for my combination skin now and I can finish off with my sunscreen. It calms and nourishes the skin so well to give a natural plump skin. If you have dry skin issues, this serum is gonna heal the dryness and makes skin healthy. I have heard people say it best works on soothing skin redness (and not on acne though) but sadly I could not give any opinion on that as I don’t face any such condition. I would love to give this to my sister to try, who has acne but she’s hesitant to use any new skincare as she recently got herself some prescribed medications for her acne condition.

I’d love to use it after my facial shave routine as I told earlier that this is absolutely soothing and calming on my skin, and because my skin inflammates right after a clean shave and I’d be good with Aloe Vera gel until I found this. This serum gives instant soothing and relaxing feel.

This serum is like absolutely every skin type’s best buddy, especially great for extra sensitive skin. The Niacinamide, Ceramides and Peptides concoction in this bottle provide adequate skin hydration and makes the skin look so plump and supple. Definitely a 5 star product.
