Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) – University of Huddersfield
The University of Huddersfield was audited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in March 2010. The judgments about quality and standards reported that confidence can reasonably be placed in the soundness of the institution’s present and likely future management of the academic standards of its awards, the highest possible rating by the QAA.
The features of good practice identified in the audit include:
the use of the Strategy Map to drive and coordinate change across the University
the proactive approach taken by Computing and Library Services to ensure that it meets the needs of a diverse student body
the comprehensive and systematic support the University provides for its students
the contribution to quality enhancement made by the various ways of recognising staff and student achievements.
