The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum – A must-have!

Everything you need to know about The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum + HA before you buy it.

What Is The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (formerly Buffet) & What Does It Do?

The easiest way to describe this product is that it´s a concoction of great ingredients hence its original name Buffet. It´s a multi-peptide serum that fights multiple signs of ageing, reduces fine lines & wrinkles, hydrates, fades dark spots, brightens, firms, and smoothens skin texture.

It’s one of the most popular water-based serums people start using when they first hear about The Ordinary. It’s a great all-around product to use for all skin types.

If you’re not too sure which peptide to go for, “Buffet” is an excellent choice to begin with. It features a comprehensive array of complex technologies within a single serum to target various visible signs of ageing all at once (such as static or dynamic lines and wrinkles, sagging and loss of elasticity). ⁣

How & When Do I Use The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (formerly Buffet)?

  • This is a water-based solution.
  • Use Multi-Peptide + HA Serum in the morning and in the evening.
  • Start with cleansed skin and apply a couple of drops over the entire face directly after cleansing.
  • Pat or massage the product in, and once it´s fully absorbed, apply your next product.
  • There are products that conflict/you should avoid using in the same routine as this (see below).

Which products can and cannot be used with The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (formerly Buffet)?

There have been quite a few changes to conflicts. Buffet shouldn’t be used in the same routine as the following products. (They can be used in alternate routines AM/PM or different days).

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum PAO (Period After Opening)

The PAO is 12M. Once you have opened your product, it is recommended to use it within 12 months.

What’s the colour, smell and texture of The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum?

The colour is a little cloudy, and there´s a very slight smell to this. Multi-Peptide + HA consistency is on the thicker side, as you can see in the video below. I find Multi-Peptide + HA Serum can be a little sticky/tacky afterwards, but once you add another product or your moisturiser, it´s fine.

Deciem Chat Room reviews by the people who have bought, tried and tested. Chat with more #deciemaddicts on Instagram or in The Ordinary & NIOD Chat Room.

Tracy: The one product I’ve used where I noticed a marked improvement in my (not so) fine lines

Rachel: Buffet was the first product I tried from The Ordinary, and I found it worked so well on my fine lines…especially on my forehead!

Nia Patten: I found it a bit sticky under makeup and didn’t persevere to see the long-term results.

TEF says: I give it a 4/5 only because Buffet+Copper is available. I love that Buffet supports hydration, is easy to slowly add into a basic routine, diminishes lines and wrinkles, and helps with texture irregularities. My skin has never been this plump, smooth, and healthy before starting this.

EBD says Love Buffet 4/10. I am on my 4th bottle. Do not apply too much. For me, 3 drops are enough, and the price is awesome!!

CB says I’m really enjoying this product. Been using it for a month.

CBK says pros: promotes hair growth, lashes and revitalized traumatized 90’s brows. Great boost of hydration, plumps fine lines. Cons: hair growth, face fuzz. Overall 4.5/5.

More Reviews for The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (formerly Buffet)

TTH says I give it 5*. I just love it. The way it feels and the way it makes my skin look.  Bought the birthday pack, so when my Bottle is empty going to compare it to the one with copper.  But I just love Buffet!

CA says 2/5 initially thought I saw improvements, then I got the peach fuzz just started Buffet with copper, and it’s breaking me out.

JC says I had great faith in this product, but my sensitive skin disliked it.

MAG says… I would give it 0/5. On my second bottle in a year and have seen absolutely no results.

Harri says  1/5 did nothing for me. Hylamide Sub Q is better but too pricy.
