These Chanel rings are inspired by Coco Chanel’s favorite jewelry
Coco Chanel was very attached to the Place Vendôme where she lived in a suite at the Ritz in 1939, and took inspiration from it for her work. In particular, the octagonal shape of the stopper of her first perfume, N°5, and several years later for her watch Première which takes on this aesthetic.
Since 1997, the house opened its Haute Joaillerie and Horlogerie store at number 18, in front of the windows of the Coco Chanel Suite. Originally created as an apartment by architect Peter Marino, the store is temporarily closed for renovations, and is moving to 15 Rue de la Paix for the duration of the works.
For the occasion, Chanel Joaillerie has revealed a unique collection of 5 Haute Joaillerie rings, named Les Bijoux de Mademoiselle, inspired by the rings worn by Gabrielle Chanel. These rings can be found in one thousand and one colours, decorated with sapphire, tourmaline or emerald, and remind us of the signet rings which she used to wear on her little finger. 5 collectors rings for the lovers of the jewelry house which can be found exclusively in this jewellery selection, as of today.
