This £2 pearl hairclip has gone viral after Instagram’s most stylish stars show theirs off

It’s been hailed as 2019’s most Instagrammed accessory, and now, thanks to the influence of Chanel’s pearl monogram pin from Karl Lagerfeld’s final collection, the hair clip is making a proud comeback.

While there are precious few of us able to fork out for the designer clip, certain brands are serving up their own purse-friendly alternatives, including a faux pearl trio from Amazon that’s giving new meaning to statement hair.

The clips in question are a set of old school pearl-encrusted barrettes in three different styles; a rectangular and triangular pearl embellished clip, as well as one triangular clip featuring a mixture of jumbo and micro pearls.
